Cheese Ball Bites

These little bites of cheese balls are delicious and really easy to make. A classic as an appetizer during the holiday season!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of grated cheese (aged cheddar or other)
  • 2 tbsp. (30 ml) Super Dips Ranch Mix (or Garden Vegetables or Chives or Roasted garlic & pepper )
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • stick pretzel
  • Optional: Add 2 tbsp. of grated Parmesan cheese in the mixture

Preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and grated cheese with electric mixer until well blended.
  2. Add the Super Dips mixture and if desired parmesan cheese and mix well.
  3. Refrigerate for a few hours.
  4. Shape the cheese mixture into small balls.
  5. In a plate, toss together the cranberries, pecans and parsley.
  6. Roll the balls in the cranberry mixture.
  7. Stick a pretzel in each ball and serve.

Variant:

For garnish, replace the pecans and cranberries with chopped flaked almonds and crumbled bacon or nachos crums.
