Pickled red onions with garlic and maple
This simple recipe will surely become a must to enhance your terrines, pâtés, smoked salmon or to put in your burgers, salad or sandwich.
Presented in a mason jar with a pretty ribbon, here’s a great idea for a homemade gift that’s sure to be appreciated.
Ingredients:
- 1 red onion
- 3/4 cup white vinegar or cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup of water
- 1 C. 1 tbsp Garlic & Maple Super Dips
- 1/4 cup sugar
- salt to taste
Preparation:

Cut the onion into thin rings and put in an airtight container (ex. a Mason jar)

In a small pot, bring the vinegar, water, Super Dips seasonings, sugar and salt to a boil.

Pour over the onions and let cool for an hour.

Put the lid on and refrigerate.
