Key lime frostings

1) Key lime buttercream frosting


  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp. Key lime Super Fruity mix
  • 3 cups of powdered sugar

2) Key lime cream cheese frosting


  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tbsp. key lime Super Fruity mix
  • 4 cups of powdered sugar


  • In a large bowl, beat the butter (and cream cheese for recipe # 2) until creamy.
  • While continuing to beat, add the Super Fruity mixture and the powdered sugar, a little at a time.
  • Beat until smooth and creamy.
  • You can add 1 tsp. tablespoon of milk for a smoother creamer.

If desired, you can garnish the cupcakes with graham cracker crumbs.
